Marina Galperina graduated from Maurice Thorez Moscow Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages as a teacher of English in 1975.
In 1985, Ms. Galperina attended a refresher course at the Moscow City Institute of Advanced Training of Teachers under the City Education Board on the subject “Methods of Intensive Teaching of Foreign Languages”. In 1996, she received certificates from the training courses “Business English” and “Modern Methods of Teaching Foreign Languages” sponsored by the British LONGMAN publication.
From 1975 to 1982, Ms. Galperina worked as an interpreter and teacher at the Central Institute of Scientific and Technical Information. In 1982-1990, she taught in Foreign Language Training Courses # 16 under the Moscow City Education Board. In 1990 -1992, she was promoted to the position of deputy director of the courses.
From 1992 to 1997, Ms. Galperina taught at the School of Linguistics of the Cultural Centre of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Since 1998, she has been a faculty member of the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation. Since 2002, Ms. Galperina has been carrying out teaching and educational activities at the Higher School of Finance and Management of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration delivering courses “Business English” and “Financial English” at the Master’s programme and MBA programme.
