In 1990, Mr. Litvinenko graduated from the Faculty of Accounting and Economics of the Moscow Financial Institute (currently, the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation) with the degree in “Book-keeping and analysis of economic activity”.
From 1987 to 1998, he worked as an accountant, chief accountant, and auditor in various companies and auditing firms. From 1992 to 2000, he combined these activities with tutorship and consulting at the Research and Consulting Centre of the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation and the International School of Finance and Banking in Moscow.
He has experience in consulting such companies as Transmost LLC, the group of companies Svetotechnika, Ryazhskiy meat processing plant LLC. He held a number of seminars at YUKOS Oil Company, the Institute of oil and gas business, ECC Pravoved, Shansavto LLC.
Since 2003, Mr. Litvinenko has been Associate Professor at the Chair of Financial Management, Managerial Accounting and IFRS at the Higher School of Finance and Management of the RANEPA. He is one of the leading tutors at the Faculty and is responsible for one of its global activities of “Accounting, International Standards of Financial Reporting, Formation and Presentation of Financial Statements”. Within the framework of these activities, Mr. Litvinenko has developed programmes, business games, case studies, tests, and training sessions.
He is supervisor for studies of master’s theses, diploma works, graduate qualification works and projects of students of the SHFM of the RANEPA.
He is the author of over 30 research papers and education and methodological publications.
